Aikman Elementary is inviting all parents to join us for Pastries for Parents on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 7:45 am. There will also be 1st - 4th Grade Awards on the same morning. Times for the awards will be sent soon.
Aikman Elementary Kindergarten Graduation will be on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10:00 am.
Parents, now is the time to register your child for the 2024-2025 school year. Please register online using Skyward Family Access. If you need assistance you may go the HISD Administration Building. Remember registration closes May 3, 2024.
Parents we will be Staar Testing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please make sure your child goes to bed early and wakes up early. Have your child to school early on testing days. Also, cell phones will be check into the office on testing days. Cell phones are not permitted in the classrooms during testing.
There will be no school for students on Friday, April 11, 2024.
There will be no extended day today for 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade today only. We will continue extended on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for this week.

Tomorrow we will be selling snow cones for $1.00 to help support Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Aikman Fundraiser Items have been delivered and are ready to be picked up from the school. You may start picking up at this time. Please bring your ID to the door when picking up your student's items.
Today students will be able to buy a snow cone for $1.00. All proceeds will be donated to those affected by the recent wildfires.

Hereford ISD is cancelling classes today February 29, 2024 due to road conditions and visibility.
Hereford ISD will begin classes 2 hours late on Thursday February 29, 2024. Buses will run two hours late on pavement only.

Parents Be sure to fill out the parent survey (the blue paper) and have your child return it to their teacher tomorrow. Students will receive an extra recess tomorrow.

Aikman Group and Individual Picture Day has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 15, 2024. We will begin promptly at 8:00 am. You can still send the picture form if you would like to purchase pictures.
Monday, February 5, 2024 will be 100 Days of School. Students can dress like you are 100 years old. On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, students can dress like Cruella or a Dalmatian for the 101 days of school.
