Aikman Elementary is located at 900 Ave. K in Hereford, Texas. Presently, Aikman Elementary serves 422 students in grades Kindergarten - 5th. The school was built in 1956 and is now 60 years old. Our school mascot is the bald eagle.

Aikman Elementary is a very successful school. We met standards in 2016 and received 5 distinctions!!! Distinctions received were in Academic Achievement in Mathematics, Academic Achievement in Science, Top 25% Student Progress, Top 25% Closing Performance Gaps, and in Postsecondary Readiness.
